Vanessa Brown from Ulster University demonstrates Geographical Information Systems

Year 10 classes took part in a series of lessons using Geographical Information Systems. Vanessa Brown, a student studying GIS at Ulster University, provided the software required and supplied laptops for pupils. Pupils experienced the benefits of using GIS when they completed lessons which involved finding the best site for a wind farm, in County Down.
