Year 9 fieldtrip to Newcastle and the River Shimna

Year 9 pupils used fieldwork equipment to measure a number of variables at the source and close to the mouth of the River Shimna. They also saw the processes of the hydrological cycle in action and witnessed the coastal defences at Newcastle preventing coastal erosion on a rather windy day!
