Ulster Juvenile Star Award

Congratulations to Rebecca Rossiter for being selected as the winner of the 2021 Ulster Juvenile Star Award for County Down in the U16-U19 Girls age group. This is a superb achievement for Rebecca and the award highlights her impressive athletic achievements this year.

The season began for her when she was selected to represent Ireland in the 1500m at her first international race in Franconville, France. She took part in the UK School Games in Loughborough. She represented Down High and achieved 2nd place. Rebecca’s next competition was the London Mini-marathon and she placed 5th. Her most recent competition was the All Ireland race in Tullamore and Rebecca achieved 1st in the 1500m and 3000m and 3rd in the 800m race. Well done, Rebecca!
