Saphara Team 2017
18th Jan 2017
Year 13 pupils have once again taken the opportunity to become involved with the charity, Saphara. The 2017 team will have the opportunity to travel to India, in July, in order to help under privileged children.
Their journey begins in a rural school in the Himalayas, where the team will teach children in a local school. Their second week will be spent in the city of Dehradun, helping pupils within a marginalised community.
The team members are Callum Dunn, Robert Frew, Corey Fitzpatrick, Shannon Conway, Gabrielle Ross, Alice Lennon, Emily Adams, Anna Hogg, Victoria Clarke and Marc Savage. Their fundraising efforts are off to a flying start and DHS wishes them the best of luck as they continue to build on their strong start.
