Royal Society of Chemistry Olympiad Examinations

Five Year 14 pupils took part in the prestigious Royal of Society Chemistry Olympiad examination. Aaron Dugan, Daniel Chambers, Jake Hamilton and Matthew Douglas achieved silver awards, and Holly Thompson achieved a bronze award. Jake Hamilton gained further success by entering the Irish Chemistry Olympiad examination. Jake scored in the top 10% of all entrants across Ireland and was invited to Dublin City University at the start of April to sit an additional examination that will be used to select Ireland’s team at the International Chemistry Olympiad in Saudi Arabia this summer. Jake is awaiting the results of this examination to find out if he has been selected.
