More Success from the Music Students at Down High

Congratulations for Down High traditional musicians in the ‘Score‘ competition

Congratulations to :

Anna Rose Kelly, Sara Kelly and Conor McVeigh on being placed 2^nd and 3^rd in the Score ensemble competition in Daraghcross representing the Camogie and Gaelic Football respectively. As a result of this they will be invited to go on to the county Finals. Maith sibh agus ádh mór!

The pupils are members of our School Traditional Music ensemble which will be making its debut at the Spring Concert this academic year.

Holywood Festival success for our talented singers

Congratulations to :

Fiona Emerson was placed first in the under 18s  Music Theatre Class in Holywood Festival, a brilliant achievement in a prestigious class. Fiona will be performing Oh Holy Night at our Christmas Carol Service which will be lovely. Well done!

Lauren McCormick 9R who was placed first in the under 12s category in Musical Theatre, singing ‘I dreamed a Dream’ from Les Miserables. Well done Lauren!

Lauren will be singing  Silent Night at our carol service so if you have not heard her sing yet, make sure you come along.
