Madison Rafferty wins Farm Safety Competition

Congratulations go to Madison Rafferty, Year 8S, who won the Ulster Bank Farm Safety competition in association with the Balmoral Show and Agrikids. She created a short farm safety themed story based on one of the suggested themes, slurry. Madison illustrated the story and had it published in a special edition of “Tales from Riverside Farm”. She was one of four winners.

The book was unveiled at this year’s Balmoral Show and given out for free to over 1,000 local school children while also being made available as a free download to every school in Northern Ireland. 

Madison also won a pass for her entire class to attend this year’s Balmoral Show.
