Down High School gains FairActive Award

This is the second in the staged awards presented by the Fairtrade Foundation and is a step up from the FairAware Award, that we gained last year. The Geography and Home Economics Departments, as well as the Eco-Committee have collaborated to highlight Fairtrade throughout school and to lead activities particularly during Fairtrade Fortnight. Well done to everyone involved in helping the school to achieve this award - both pupils and staff - it was a real team effort.
