Down High Flyers Top the League

The Equestrian team have been busy this term as they have competed in the Inter-school Show Jumping League. This prestigious competition attracts teams from all over the province and teams gain point after each event. The Down High Flyers have had a superb season and managed to maintain the top of the league position throughout the entire competition. They emerged as overall winners in an exciting final last weekend. The team will now travel to Wexford to complete in the All-Ireland Show Jumping Final. A huge congratulation to Annie Gibson, Ben Cousins, Cara MacNabb and Zara Sharvin. In the Individual Premier Show Jumping League, also hosted by The Meadows Equestrian Centre, Down High had even more success and claimed the top two positions. Congratulations to Zara Sharvin who placed first and to James Murphy who placed second in a very competitive league.
