Celebrating Long Service Volunteers

This week, Mr Duffin, Mr Wilson & former Down High teacher Mr Doey had the pleasure of attending a Twenty One Gun Salute to mark the 75th Birthday of His Majesty The King at Hillsborough Castle.

They joined volunteers from across the youth sector for a Presentation of Long Service Certificates to The Duke of Edinburgh's Award volunteers. It was fantastic to see these staff, who continue to be involved in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award both at Down High and several other schools, recognised for their long service. Thank you for everything you do!
