Year 10 Down High student Cameron McCaughey produced a personal best performance of two minutes two seconds in the Junior Boys 800m to win Gold at the Irish Schools Athletics Championships in Tullamore, County Offaly, on Saturday past. Having already secured the District and Provincial schools' titles, this outstanding performance rounded off the perfect season for Cameron.
