Jacob riding high

Jacob Morrow, a Year 11 student in Down High School, has recently won a number of awards at the recent Long Distance Riding Association 2014 Awards Ceremony. Jacob and his pony, Tambo, have accumulated an impressive collection of Long Distance Riding accolades to include; a Gold medal for the Open Championship for highest competitive mileage, Junior Open Champion and winner of the Zara Junior Cup for the highest mileage in Competitive Trail Rides for junior horse and rider. Jacob wasn’t the only part of the duo to receive an award. His pony, Tambo, also won the Top Horse Award at the Ulster Branch Awards Evening.
