Hospitality and Tourism event captures the imagination of guests and pupils alike

9th Feb 2018

A-Level students from Down High School recently welcomed representatives from many sectors of the local and national Tourism Industry, who delivered a series of presentations at Down County Museum. Speakers were invited to talk about aspects of their industry and also took part in a question and answer session for the benefit of the school’s Year 14 Travel and Tourism class. The invited speakers gave varied, passionate and inspiring expositions.

The Geography Department and Year 14 pupils studying Travel and Tourism were very grateful to everyone who took the time to share their experiences in the Tourism Industry. The organisational nous of Mr. Crutchley, Linda McKenna and the Down County Museum were central in ensuring the smooth delivery of this very successful event.
