6th Form Intake Day: 20 August

6th Aug 2015

Pupils interested in joining Down High School for Sixth Form study are invited to our Intake Day on Thursday 20 August from 9.00am. Last year we were able to offer places in our 6th Form to fifty pupils from 11-16 schools in the area.
Down High School offers an range of traditional A-Level courses, as well as Applied A-levels in subjects like Moving Image Arts and Health & Social Care. We were also one of the first schools in Northern Ireland to introduce the new A-Level in Software Systems Development.
In conjunction with SERC, Down High School offers five BTEC Level 3 subjects: Sport; Travel & Tourism; Engineering; Business and ICT. BTECs do not have examinations and are assessed entirely through coursework.

Please bring your GCSE results with you and we will endeavour to meet your needs. Down High School has a reputation for friendliness, high-quality learning & teaching and excellent pastoral care/careers support. We look forward to seeing interested pupils and their parents on our Intake Day. Please see our advertisements in the local press for more details.
