10M Make Massive Contribution to Tiny Life Charity

30th Jun 2016

YEAR 10M STUDENTS IN DOWN HIGH SCHOOL INITIATE CHARITY DRIVE

Pupils from 10M at Down High School recently spear-headed a whole school fundraising event for the charity Tiny Life. The class wanted to raise funds to recognise the valued support given to the family of one of the class by the charity.

The class in conjunction with Form Teacher Mr Patton, organised a Year Assembly where they outlined the charities aims and highlighted some of the exceptional work carried out by the Tiny Life charity. Following this they sold wristbands and lapel badges throughout the school raising a total of £303.00. The school is very proud of the empathy and awareness the class have shown and congratulate them on their hard work.
